The curtain rose on February 14th on the 19th edition of Casa Sanremo , which this year has Chateau d'Ax as its main sponsor . This is the flagship of the collateral events of the 2026 Italian Song Festival , which will remain open until Saturday, February 28th at the PalaItalia ENIT , conceived and created by Gruppo Eventi within the Palafiori in Sanremo. For the second consecutive year, the event has been extended to 15 days of non-stop entertainment , given the success achieved in 2025. “We are celebrating 19 years of history with an edition that looks to the future,” declared Vincenzo Russolillo, founder of Casa Sanremo , adding: “Our goal is to offer an increasingly rich program, integrated with that of Rai and the City of Flowers, creating a place of discussion that speaks to institutions as well as new generations through the languages of sustainability and inclusion.” In this way, an ideal and concrete path has been created, which extends well beyond the prestigious stage of the Ariston Theatre, for professionals, guests and the general public of families and young people.
The first news is that the Underground program has been expanded and updated, with additional spaces dedicated to emerging music and creativity. Casa Sanremo TV and Radio Casa Sanremo will be available on digital terrestrial television throughout Italy on channel 254, and widespread, free coverage will be guaranteed via smart TVs and a dedicated app. The flagship programs of the schedule have been confirmed: "L'Italia in Vetrina" with Grazia Serra and "Buongiorno Sanremo" with Savino Zaba .
Casa Sanremo also intends to strengthen its institutional vocation by hosting a series of thematic events: the participation of the Minister for Disability, in conjunction with the MEI, at the February 23 meeting for the professionalization of artists with disabilities in the entertainment industry; and the presence of the Ministry of Health at the February 25 event . Great importance will be given to the topics of legality and the fight against the mafia , and to this end, the event "Music against the mafia" will be held on February 24 , while on February 27, space will be given to the format "Lezione di mafia" with Nicola Gratteri and Paolo Giannantonio and the "Legality NextGen" projects . Among the announced guests, Sigfrido Ranucci, host of "Report" on Rai Tre, stands out.
Regarding social issues and solidarity , collaborations with Caritas Italiana, Save the Children, UNICEF, and Legambiente have been renewed, bringing the protection of minors and the fight against educational poverty to the forefront of the debate. The State Police will return with the "A Life on Social Media" initiative to raise awareness among young people about the responsible use of the internet. Radio Immaginaria and a jury of adolescents will also be present, drawing up their rankings based on the votes of more than 500 young people from across the country.
The partnership with Rai has been confirmed. Specifically , Rai's eagerly awaited "Welcome to the Press," scheduled for February 22, will be held at Casa Sanremo Chateau d'Ax .
As regards the culture of the territory , Casa Sanremo has always told the story of Italy and offered wide visibility starting from the Municipality of Sanremo and the Liguria Region .
And here are the podcasts of the House : "Così fan tutte" with Chiara Carcano and Arianna Bertoncelli; "Pezzi: dentro la musica" organized and hosted by Luca Dondoni, Andrea Laffranchi, and Paolo Giordano; "Vita futura" with Giorgia Surina, telling stories of change, rebirth, and personal revolution; "Il podcast stonato" where Pinuccio will present current events in a different way; and Lercio with exclusive interviews with the competing singers, passing celebrities, and distracted visitors, mixing irony and musical notes.
There will also be a wellness area , an exclusive relaxation zone for caring for body and soul with holistic professionals trained and guided by teachers from CSEN (National Educational Sports Centre).
Going up to the top floor of the Palafiori, you can enjoy a true food experience with the Gambero Rosso Roof Restaurant or the Gambero Rosso Pizza Court . In short, Gambero Rosso will transform the terrace into one of the main meeting places for the so-called bandwagon.
Casa Sanremo Writers is the cultural and literary salon of the Casa together with Rai Libri. Among the authors hosted: Annalisa Bruchi (February 21), Natalia Cattelani (February 22), Federico Palmaroli (February 23), Bruno Luverà (February 24), Beppe Convertini (February 25), Giorgio Calcara (February 26), Massimiliano Ossini (February 27) and Maria Latella (February 28). The presentations will be moderated by Grazia Serra and the Director of Rai Libri Adriano Monti Buzzetti will speak. The usual literary competition , which has attracted a very high number of entries, will also take place. Participants will be invited to the “La Vetrina” format presented by Maurilio Giordana . Casa Sanremo Library will instead include the “Scaffale dei libri”, where authors can leave a copy of their book, autographed and dedicated. The catalog features interesting titles (paperbacks and e-books) published by Casa Sanremo Edizioni, which currently boasts five series: Fiction, Stories, Poetry, Anthropology and Territories, and Art.
