Perfect traditional Italian hotel with a lovely view and gracious staff.
The property was just as pictured. We were able to watch the sunrise over the ocean in the morning. The staff was a delight. Although we didn't use them, the bicycles were a nice touch.

Fantastic stay- amazing staff
We had stayed here before and will always book back here again when in Sanremo. The room is perfect with a lovely view, great location and all the facilities you need for a week's stay. We quite enjoy cooking and we're able to make a variety of dishes using the kitchen facilities available. I also really liked the large balcony that has a partial sea view and feels private.
The property itself is a perfect place to stay in Sanremo, however for me, the best thing about Residence Dei Due Porti is their staff. What an exceptional team!
The first time we stayed we thought the staff were friendly, kind and helpful.
But this time ( our second stay) I unfortunately, had an accident and broke my ankle and collar bone whilst away.
This meant that for the last few days of my holiday I was unable to move much. The staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me around and in and out of taxis. The care and kindness I was shown by all the staff was overwhelming. What an amazing group of people. I will always be grateful to all the team for the help they gave me.

What can I say? We like the property so much. We decided to add another night. Couldn’t think of the better location. Close to the beach right around walking shopping eating area. When we booked the hotel, the guide said that sheets are not available, which was kind of weird. However, I am so glad that we decided to go on ,and take a chance anyway. The bedding in the apartment , and everything else is stocked properly. There was an easy parking for €15 a night and what really made us very happy washing and drying machine that is available. By that time we traveled quite a distance and was really too happy to wash some of our clothing. Everything is nearby and the facility is perfect. I honestly couldn’t believe our luck when we got here. If we are ever in the area, will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the hotel back in early October last year and thought it was in a great central location, together with the convenience of having its own car park.
As we said before, the staff were very courteous and helpful and the accommodation is comfortable and absolutely spotless, hence we were very happy to return.

Perfect location for a quiet stay
Lovely little property tucked away by the port. Quiet location with easy access to everything. The staff were amazing, the sun terrace gives a great view across the vista and although I didn’t use them, there are also bikes to use for the long cycle path.

As many other reviewers we did choose Residence dei Due Porti for our family vacation. In short, the experience was significantly better than we expected: Absolutely clean apartments, extremely helpful and kind staff and the location is simply amazing (1min walking distance to the beach, 5min walking distance to a grocery store and between 5min and 10min walking distance to many restaurants). The seaview from the apartment/balcony is worth the price (see attached photo).

Perfect base for your stay in Sanremo
With this location you have everything you need within a short walk. The beach a few steps away and all the best parts of Sanremo a few steps in the other direction. Such welcoming and helpful staff plus large and clean apartments. This will be our preferred hotel next time we visit.

Hotel was close to the town, just approx 100 m up to the main streets with all kinds of nice shops for everybody.

Whilst on holiday in France we booked a one night stay in San Remo to experience a taste of Italy for 48hrs and were not disappointed. The accommodation was excellent, really nice and spacious for the family with a great view of the sea and beach area. Location is fantastic as everything is within touching distance from beach to food to coastal cycle path. Free bike hire was included for both days along with private parking which was handy although this cost a little extra. The staff from cleaners to management were all very friendly and helpful. We were checked in by a very friendly reception manager who took us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. Sadly I didnt catch his name but his colleague Mattia was also really helpful with both the free bike hire and also advising on where best to eat and how to get to various places. We were even stopped by one of the owners for a chat as she wanted to check we were happy with everything which was nice. All really friendly and such a great place we are booking to come back with the wider family later in the year. Thank you to all at Residence dei due Porti, we shall be back.

The staff are incredible. they gave us a very warm welcome, explained everything to us and showed us to the room. The room was perfect, really clean and well equipped - they seem to have thought of everything that you may need. location is excellent - on the seafront and very central. they have free bikes which we used to ride the cycle route that runs past the back of the hotel and all the way along the coast. The deluxe apt we stayed in was incredible value for money.

Positive: it is our third time staying at Residence Dei Due Porte it is in a great location with the beach just across from the apartments rooms are very nice we love everything about the apartments and we would like to keep them a secret ,, haha ,,,the staff are excellent and are always there to help ,,,we also like the rooftop terrace which has sun beds and towels and a toilet and shower ,,,also free cycles so you can take advantage of the safe cycle tracks the rooms are cleaned every day with clean towels and bedding ,,,,restaurants and bars are a short walk away …We love Sanremo and we will return

Positive: Everything was perfect. Staff and reception were just amazing, friendly, professional, super nice and always ready to help in any situation. The apartment had a superb view from the balcony and comfy beds. The cleanest flat ever been, totally sanitized. Flawless. Location is top, with many walking distance restaurants and supermarkets. We travel by van and they helped us to arrange a good parking spot in their backyard. One of the best experience we had with residences.

Must stay in Sanremo
It was an excellent stay during our 2 nights in Sanremo. Great staff service, the room was spacious, included all amenities and very clean. The balcony view on the sea was totally worth it as well. Parking on site which is very helpful if you're driving. Lastly, the location is perfect as it is close to the beach, and to the center, restaurants and shops. Recommend it 100% for your stay in Sanremo.

Great location just across from the beach, we walked there from the train station in less than 10 minutes. Friendly welcome and check in. We had a ground floor studio for 3 of us, comfortable and super clean. The roof terrace was lovely, we spent some time up there on the sun beds and perfect for an evening apero. Having the bikes to use for free was brilliant as the bike path along the coast is great. Good value for money, would stay there again, thanks

Positive: The staff we met were all very friendly and customer minded. The apartment is exactly as shown on the Booking.com site. The daily cleaning is highly appreciated. The kitchen is small, but it is well equipped for a simple meal like breakfast or easy lunch. The seaview is great. The road between the beach and the apartment is not noisy during the night. It is easy to walk to many restaurants and the shopping street. We will stay there again next time visiting Sanremo. It is recommended to book a parking space if travel with car.

First visit to San Remo
This was my first visit to San Remo, principally to see the Milano-San Remo cycling race. I chose Residence Del Due Porti initially because of its very close proximity to the Via Roma, where the race finishes. The accommodation consists of apartments. I was lucky enough to get a sea view, which was incredible. The staff at the facility were very attentive and helpful. I was grateful that they spoke enough English to counter my pretty poor Italian (scuse!!). The apartment was well kept, clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed my three nights stay there and would certainly consider returning. I was also able to park my motorbike in their private car park.

The hotel offers self-catering apartments and enjoys a sea front location. There is parking available on site, which was a requirement for my motorbike. It has a great location to access all of the main San Remo attractions. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Room very clean and nice, everything perfect arranged. The kitchen corner equipped well. 100-150 metres away there is a Conad shop where you can make food shopping. The beach very clean.

The hotel was very clean, and the room was spacious even by American standards. It has a full kitchen and kitchen table in it! The bed was king-sized and the sofa bed turns into two twin beds. This wasn't very clear when we booked it, so we were surprised and pleased. The staff were all SO friendly and tolerant of loud children. Another surprise was that there must have been 2+ bicycles [3 or 4 with baby seats!] available for loan for free. So we were able to borrow these and go biking on the BEAUTIFUL, stunning bicycle path along the Mediterranean. It was the most beautiful bike ride we had ever been on, and the path extends for miles and miles with stunning beaches along the way. The beach located by the hotel is literally steps outside. The beach is incredibly clean, but it does feel like a city beach [the water is a bit cloudy, but overall a good beach]. There's a playground on this beach. The beaches along the bike path were breathtakingly beautiful, so don't settle necessarily for the beach by the hotel. The WIFI worked well - I really can't say enough about this hotel. I think the photos don't really do it justice. It's not glamourous, but it's perfect for a traveling family. :)

The Location is situated few steps from the seaside and less than 5 minutes walk from the famous Via Matteotti and the old centre. The flat seaview is spacious and clean. The service was outstanding and friendly. Residence due porti rented us two bikes and we had an amazing ride all over the coast and we stopped in Piazza Bresca for happy hour. I loved it !!!

David San Diego, CA, USA, Jun 11 2013 - The modern feel of the rooms, the great beach front location and the friendliness of staff. Walls are a bit thin, which seems to be common in Italy. If you are hyper-sensitive to noise, bring some silicon earplugs...a small price to pay. On the (sandy! imported?) beach at Sanremo. Near to festive area of restaurants and port, super convenient for train. The Residence dei Due Porti is a must stay if you want a reasonably priced, modern and ever-so friendly and responsive hotel in Sanremo. We stayed in both a family sized room with a slight view and a small Meditarranean view one and both rooms were immaculate, cozy and modernly decorated and furnished. The staff could not be friendlier, the location is beach front and yet only a short walk, if youre traveling light, from the superb newer underground train station. Literally outside the hotel is part of the long (Europes longest) bike trail they created when they moved the train lines from the beach front to the mountain tunnel, and the hotel will let you use one of several basic bikes for free. We rode for 2 hours and still did not run out of trail, instead finding stunning ocean view places to stop for coffee and ice cream. Hotel is a short walk from a great Conad supermarket for supplies and from restaurants, bars etc. which take care of locals, tourists and the port boat traffic. Unconditonally recommended.
