The events will be held in the Opera House of the Matuziana Casino at 9:00 PM.
Friday, October 31 - Ezio Greggio
The curtain will rise on Friday, October 31st, during the All Saints' Day long weekend, with Ezio Greggio and the text "A Life on the Screen." The beloved entertainer will retrace the history of Italian television past and present through scathing monologues, parodies of famous TV personalities and politicians, and some of his most famous acts, such as the "Asta Tosta" (Tough Auction) featuring a painting by the master Teomondo Scrofalo.
Sunday, November 16 - Stefano Fresi
On Sunday, November 16, Stefano Fresi will take on the role of "Dioggene." In the first act, "Historia de Oddi, Bifolcho," he will perform his own text, written in authentic 13th-century vernacular. It tells the story of a Tuscan peasant who fought in the terrible Battle of Montaperti on September 4, 1260, where the Ghibelline troops led by Siena won a rare victory over the Guelph troops of Florence. In the second act, "The Actor and the Good God," in the privacy of his dressing room, he will tell us about the recent violent breakup with his wife. Finally, in "Er cane de via der fosso d'a Maijana," we find him free and happy, living in a garbage can, evoking the Greek philosopher Diogenes.
Sunday, January 11 - Vittoria Belvedere and Cesare Bocci
On Sunday, January 11, 2026, Vittoria Belvedere and Cesare Bocci will perform a classic Western comedy: "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?" Made famous on screen by the two superstars Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, the film was a sensation. The topic of mixed marriage caused a stir in America in the late 1960s, and William Arthur Rose's story remains more relevant than ever in an increasingly multiethnic society.
Thursday, February 5 - Gianpaolo Morelli
On Thursday, February 5th, Giampaolo Morelli will present "Inconvenient Truths and Three True Stories." Inconvenient truths are nothing more than a summary of our weaknesses, a compendium of everyday tics, manias, impulses, and obsessions. And the three true stories? Real-life anecdotes that will offer audiences a unique and intimate portrait of the renowned actor.
Sunday, March 15 - Chiara Salerno and Max Pisu
Sunday, March 15th, another classic, "The Tailor for Ladies," starring Chiara Salerno and Max Pisu. A hilarious comedy of errors by Georges Feydeau, written in 1886, it has been staged in countless productions as well as several films. Dr. Moulineaux, a married man, rents a small apartment formerly occupied by a seamstress for his amorous encounters with his patient Suzanne Aubin, constantly interrupted by unexpected and amusing visitors.
Tuesday 31 March - Rocío Muñoz Morales, Giorgio Lupano and Gabriele Pignotta
On Tuesday, March 31st, Rocío Muñoz Morales, Giorgio Lupano, and Gabriele Pignotta will take the stage in the hilarious "Dangerous Contractions." This show marks a turning point in Pignotta's career, including as a writer. The winning ingredients are all there (comedic situations, reflections, and a hint of mystery), but here we cross the threshold into an exploration of the soul, the impulses, fears, hopes, and desires of a generation without certain reference points. Martina will become pregnant, and Massimo will only find out when she goes into labor. At that moment, a volcano of mutual feelings, long-held by the two, will erupt. A key role will be played by the obstetrician at one of Rome's hospitals, which are increasingly struggling due to staff shortages and limited resources.
Friday, April 24 - Massimo Popolizio with Giovanni Lo Cascio
On Friday, April 24, Massimo Popolizio will present "The Grapes of Wrath," based on John Steinbeck's novel, accompanied by percussionist Giovanni Lo Cascio . In the summer of 1936, Steinbeck set out on a mission to recount the plight of laborers forced to migrate from the fractured heart of the United States to California. Three years later, he wrote a report on that experience, in which current affairs, politics, and humanity merged into a searing narrative that changed the way we look at social justice and the dignity of the defeated. Even today, we ask ourselves: is it possible to remain human when everything around us is collapsing?
Friday, May 22 - Luca Bizzarri, Enzo Paci, and Antonio Zavatteri
On Friday, May 22nd, the festival will close with the play "Our Women," performed by Luca Bizzarri, Enzo Paci, and Antonio Zavatteri and produced by CMC Nidodiragno. This contemporary work by the late French-Tunisian author Eric Assous will feature three friends meeting for the customary poker game. The women of the title won't be physically present, but they will still invade the stage: loved, hated, missed, materialized by the conversations of their men in crisis.
