Ariston Theatre Spring 2025

Ariston Theatre Spring 2025

The beautiful 2025 season of the Ariston in Sanremo will begin immediately after the 75th Italian Song Festival. On Friday 14 March, the Neapolitan comedian Francesco Cicchella will perform in “Tante belle cose” , in which he will alternate his warhorses (such as imitations of singers Achille Lauro, Massimo Ranieri and Ultimo) with original sketches, pretending to be 60 years old to retrace his brilliant career.

We will continue on Saturday 15 March with Massimo Ranieri on the tour “Tutti i sogni ancora in volo”. Among the various songs there will also be the one that won the Critics' Award at the 2022 Festival: “Lettera di là dal mare”. And we will listen to both his evergreens and unreleased songs written for him by some prestigious authors (such as Pino Donaggio, Ivano Fossati, Bruno Lauzi and Giuliano Sangiorgi) and included in the album that gives the title to the tour.

Friday 21 March will be the turn of “Siffredi racconta Rocco” , the show with which the Italian porn star par excellence will debut in the theatre to narrate the lights and shadows of a truly incredible life and professional choice, which have made him a contemporary icon.

On Thursday, April 17, we will see “Shrek – The Musical” , a re-adaptation of the 2001 DreamWorks film of the same name, winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Film. The musical show debuted on Broadway in 2008 and was then presented around the world. This production is entirely from Puglia and particular attention is given to prosthetic makeup.

Angelo Duro is an acclaimed comedian and television personality, who will be performing on Saturday, April 19th in the new show “Ho tre belle notizie”. And the audience can’t wait to hear them, having no idea what awaits them this time!

There will also be room for fun on Saturday, April 26 with Max Angioni in the brand new one-man-show “Anche meno”. The artist plays himself, that is to say a little over thirty, an only child, who surreally filters both daily events and existential questions, in short everything that passes through his head.

Wednesday, April 30, appointment with the very incorrect Ligurian humor of the Pirati dei Caruggi : Alessandro Bianchi, Enrique Balbontin, Andrea Ceccon and Fabrizio Casalini. The four will challenge each other at Monopoly, or rather at “Cefalopoly”, the classic board game set in their Genoa between hungry entrepreneurs and (s)convicted politicians.

On Thursday, May 8, Vincenzo Schettini will stop at the Ariston with “La fisica che ci piace – La lezioni show!”. Millions of people follow his lessons on social media, thanks to the gift of the professor, a high school teacher, to make a subject like physics simple. For the public, it will be a unique and immersive experience, made of suggestions and experiments.

On Tuesday 13th May, Umberto Tozzi will hold a concert entitled “L'ultima notte rosa – The final tour”. The singer-songwriter, with 70 million records sold, has decided to say goodbye to the stage with a world tour. The theatre has always been the ideal location for his refined melodies: “Gloria”, “Immensamente”, “Notte rosa”, “Si può dare di più” and “Ti amo”. What better occasion to celebrate his long career, from the 70s to the present day?

Grand finale on Friday, May 16 with the musical about Saint Francis “Forza venite gente”. The plot focuses on the extraordinary figure of the patron saint of our country, recounting the values and emotions of everyday life. At the same time, interesting reflections are dedicated to the relationship between fathers and sons of every generation and every era, often complicated by different expectations and contrasting values.
