Sanremo Christmas 2024 New Year's Eve 2025
Sanremo is preparing for the celebrations for the 2024 Christmas holidays and New Year's Eve 2025 with a program packed with over 140 events . As always, families with children have been literally put at the center with the lighting of the lights and the Christmas tree in Piazza Borea d'Olmo on December 7. From December 20 to January 6, musical notes, light installations and shows - including traveling ones - will involve adults and children in the streets and squares of the city center , where themed shop windows will help fuel the magical festive atmosphere. Via Escoffier, Via Corradi, Via Matteotti will be the protagonists; stages dedicated to music will be set up at the Palafiori and the food market; other themed events will be held on the solettone of Piazza Colombo; and you can have fun at the Luna Park on Piazzale Carlo Dapporto and on the seafront. Not forgetting that the prestigious Ariston Theatre will present a substantial film programme suited to the period, from the latest releases to animated films.
The highlight of the celebrations will be the “New Year's Eve Show Sanremo” . Numerous artists will take to the stage at Pian di Nave to welcome the arrival of the new year, including: Serena Brancale , who will compete among the big names at the next Italian Song Festival; Dargen D'Amico and Chiara Galiazzo , who have participated in some past editions of the Festival; Daniele Cabras , who hosted Prima Festival last February, who will entertain the audience with his comedy sketches; Cecille , a talent from the Bocelli family, accompanied by exceptional pianist Ilary Barnes ; Andrea Settembre , an emerging artist from Sanremo Giovani 2025; Giulia Molino from the TV program “Amici”; talents such as Disco Club Paradiso, Fiat 131 and Martina Galizzi from Ventimiglia; the singer Feisal Bonciani , a competitor on “Tale e Quale Show” hosted by Carlo Conti; finally, in the role of presenters, Francesca Manzini, a well-known face of “Striscia la Notizia” and the showgirl Ginevra Lamborghini . The appointment is set for December 31st at 9 pm near the Forte di Santa Tecla and the show will go on for four hours with musical performances and DJ sets, even after the traditional fireworks at the stroke of midnight at the Porto Vecchio .
The Sanremo Symphony Orchestra , one of the most important cultural institutions in Sanremo, has scheduled two dates not to be missed: Monday 30 December at 6 pm at the Teatro Centrale and on 1 January at 5 pm at the Teatro dell'Opera del Casinò, the classic "Concerto delle Feste" will be staged to end 2024 in style and embrace 2025. You will have the pleasure of listening to the most famous and beloved Viennese compositions by Johann Strauss Jr., the Slavic Dance No. 2 by Antonin Dvorak, the Valse Triste by Jean Sibelius and a touch of Neapolitan style with the tarantella by Ottorino Respighi. The concert will be conducted by Maestro Giancarlo De Lorenzo.
The Casino of the City of Flowers offers its loyal customers the “New Year's Eve Grand Gala” at the Roof Garden , in a glamorous and extremely captivating setting with Christmas decorations. The Paipers will perform with the evergreens of the 60s and Andrea Paris , a brilliant magician and theatre actor. On January 4th, again at the Roof Garden, there will be an evening of pure fun with the imitations of Claudio Lauretta, aka Mister Voices for his unrivaled ability to modulate and modify his voice.
