Sanremo Festival 2025

The Italian Song Festival will return to Sanremo from 11 to 15 February at the famous Ariston Theatre. There is anticipation to find out if Carlo Conti will live up to expectations and if the presenter, who is also entrusted with the artistic direction , will win the challenge of keeping the festival at the level of the amazing successes of the past editions hosted by Amadeus.

Remember that Conti had already held this role from 2015 to 2017 with excellent ratings. Alongside him, on the prestigious stage of the Ariston, there will be numerous co-hosts, including:

• Antonella Clerici and Gerry Scotti in prime time;
• Bianca Balti, Cristiano Malgioglio and Nino Frassica in the second;
• Miriam Leone, Elettra Lamborghini and Katia Follesa in the third;
• Mahmood and Geppi Cucciari in the fourth;
• Alessia Marcuzzi and Alessandro Cattelan (captain of DopoFestival) in that final.

The Festival is not just a song contest, but a varied container of entertainment inside and outside the Ariston Theatre. And when the spotlights go out, the streets and squares are lit up with the dolce vita of VIPs. During the entire week , hotels and inns for the Sanremo Festival are stormed by tourists, who know how easy it is to bump into some singer or even be lucky enough to see their favorites and super guests live.

Music will be the main protagonist, with thirty-four artists, who will present as many songs divided into two sections, as had happened until 2021. It should be noted that the winner of the Festival will have the opportunity to represent our country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 , which will take place in Basel, Switzerland from 13 to 17 May.

From Wednesday, the big names will be alternated with the new talents with the winning songs of Sanremo Giovani 2024. There are four of them and among them there could be a future Ramazzotti or another Pausini, so they are to keep in mind: Alex Wyse with “Rockstar”, Maria Tomba with “Goodbye (voglio good vibes)”, Settembre with “Vertebre” and Vale LP together with Lil Jolie with “Dimmi tu quando sei pronto per fare l'amore” . The emerging talents will perform in two couples per evening in a direct challenge and the winners, decided by a mixed voting system – televoting, press room jury, TV and web and radio jury – will access the final. On Friday, the overall winner among the New Proposals will be decreed by the public televoting (34%), the press room jury, TV and web (33%) and the radio jury (33%). On Saturday, the same voting system will choose the winning song of the 75th Sanremo Festival among the Champions.

The cast leaves room for different musical genres. The general crisis is poured into the lyrics with the reflections that it inevitably entails. In the end, however, hope prevails and love songs return, in the best tradition of Sanremo and very suitable for this edition, which on Valentine's Day includes the duets long-awaited and loved by viewers . There will be no shortage of super guests throughout the week, both from our country and internationally, in particular Jovanotti, Damiano David and the timeless Iva Zanicchi, who will collect the "Città di Sanremo" Award for her career .
