Casa Sanremo, an 18-year long story! Casa Sanremo Bazr is the hospitality of the Italian Song Festival, signed by the Consorzio Gruppo Eventi. It will officially start at 6:30 pm on Saturday 1st February at the Palafiori. The ribbon cutting will be entrusted to the host and artistic director of the singing festival Carlo Conti.
Casa Sanremo was born from an idea of the patron Vincenzo Russolillo and the radio speaker Mauro Marino, welcomed and supported by the late Pepimorgia, artistic director of the City of Flowers. For the eighteenth consecutive year it represents the highlight of the collateral events of the so-called bandwagon. The event is placed under the aegis of the Municipality of Matuzia and the opening ceremony will certainly see the intervention of the authorities, in rightful recognition of the impressive work and numbers totaled by the Gruppo Eventi over time. It should be emphasized that the Casa constitutes an excellent showcase to best advertise the City of Flowers, as well as an employment opportunity for about fifty people from the district.
Casa Sanremo intends to be a rich and varied container of many events for non-stop entertainment, to be discovered inside the different rooms of the House. The radios will be the protagonists of this edition thanks to the creation of Piazza Marconi. It will be an area of 3 thousand square meters dedicated to radios of all types and equipped ad hoc. On the websites and social networks of the broadcasters, moreover, the Sanremo Festival will live actively through photo reports, videos and interviews with the singers and guest stars of the national-popular event par excellence. In addition to the chats with the competing artists, the songs of the big and emerging artists will be listened to repeatedly.
For the 18th birthday of Casa Sanremo, the Palafiori has been confirmed as the location, which will be literally transformed, well-furnished and animated to serve as an ideal lounge not only for industry insiders during the great festival week, until Saturday 15th. For Casa this means being in the heart of the City of Flowers, a few steps from the Ariston Theater, and being right next to the Radio, Private TV and Web Room, which is set up on the top floor of the building and creates a young and dynamic environment, where labels are encouraged to bring both veterans and new talents for record promotion.
Casa Sanremo will host the showcases of the Festival's singers, both Champions and New Proposals. The Underground stage, in addition, will be graced by the members of the Campus of high training in performers and music producers, demonstrating that the musical laboratory, but also of dance and events and web manager of the City of Flowers works and produces quality. The project, which will occupy the entire first week of the opening of the House, is the result of the Gruppo Eventi Academy and will issue credits valid for obtaining the first and second level degrees in dance.
Along the exhibition route of the House, thanks to exceptional partners, visitors will be able to satisfy all needs: beauty and wellness, fashion, show cooking, social responsibility, culture and obviously lots of good music. For social issues, for example, there will be appointments with Una vita da social , the itinerant initiative of the Postal and Communications Police to raise awareness, especially among young people, on the correct and responsible use of the Internet and social media. Among the many musical proposals, the Soundies Awards are worth highlighting, the prize for the best video clip among the songs competing at the Festival, which will allow the winner to make a video clip in the partner territory with a voucher of 5 thousand euros plus services.
With such a wealth and variety of entertainment, Casa Sanremo Bazr is certainly a point of reference for artists and professionals and an experience to be lived for residents and tourists.
