Kismet, known throughout the world thanks to the work of its founder Cav. Uff. Paolo Alberti, also a UNICEF Messenger, organizes the 16th edition of SanremoJunior, the international competition for solo singers aged 6 to 15. The singing competition aims to enhance and spread music and singing among the youngest, putting them in contact with professionals in the sector in an international and multi-ethnic environment.
sanremoJunior also gives participants media visibility in our country and abroad. The 2025 world final will be held in the splendid setting of the Ariston Theatre on March 26 in front of an audience and a jury of experts, with strictly live performances accompanied by the sanremoJunior orchestra made up of 32 elements. The competition, which includes every musical genre except opera, provides for the division of budding singers into three sections: from 6 to 9 years, from 10 to 12 years, and finally from 13 to 15 years. The songs can be performed in Italian, foreign or dialect, but in the case of languages other than Italian or English, the translation of the text into English must be presented. Only one song is allowed for each competitor, published or unpublished, with a maximum duration of 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
sanremoJunior boasts a high quality from an organizational point of view, a high level of participants and an important consideration also abroad, which brings prestige to the City of Flowers. Since SanremoJunior is the only competition of its kind sponsored by the Municipality of Sanremo , those who reach the world final and the first place winners of the Italian national final may be asked to perform out of competition in other venues and this represents a further opportunity to get noticed.

At the same time, the Gef 2025 (World Festival of Creativity in Schools) will be held, specifically the international finals of the 26th edition will be held at the Ariston from 26 to 29 March . The Gef is considered the most important event at an international level in the field of initiatives dedicated to schools. It is a series of competitions for children and young people aged 5 to 19, in which many foreign countries also take part. The final stages flow into a single large event, with numerous live performances of the various disciplines. With the Gef, the school becomes a stage: on stage singing, music, musicals, theatre, dance, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics, fashion, education and training, sport, solidarity and social projects of the schools .
The cheerful parade of the finalists of all the competitions along the city streets has become an appreciated and consolidated tradition. And during the evening of Saturday the special prizes will be awarded, among which stands out the “Global Education Award”, the only international recognition of education, to personalities and associations that with words and example have favored the development of education. It should be noted that every year the Gef produces an induced effect second only to the Festival della Canzone Italiana, because it welcomes a lively and colorful parade of students with their teachers and chaperones and the members of the various juries.
