Five hundred drones , the traditional midnight fireworks , music from the 70s, 80s and 90s until 1:30 am and a super national DJ on a yacht in front of the port: this is what the City of Flowers has in store for New Year's Eve 2026.

Unlike in the past, instead of a concert in the square, a larger event has been planned along the coast, offering residents and tourists a unique experience, with spectacular attractions in the sky and music to dance to for all tastes and generations. In short, it will be a New Year 's Eve to remember by the sea in Sanremo!

The Department of Tourism is gradually revealing the surprises planned and confirming the organizational machinery already in place. The City is currently negotiating to host a well-known and beloved DJ, whose name is linked to a historic Italian radio station. He will be tasked with engaging the audience and getting them dancing from a yacht docked in front of the harbor, creating a highly effective and glamorous atmosphere. To create the right atmosphere, speakers will be placed along the entire waterfront, playing the greatest hits of the '70s, '80s, and '90s, ensuring both young and old can get their groove on.

The highlight of the evening will be the drone show—five hundred of them! They'll light up the night sky with dazzling choreography, reflecting in the water, a precursor to the eagerly awaited fireworks display at midnight, ushering in 2026. Afterward, the party will resume, continuing with Sanremo residents and visitors until 1:30 PM, providing non-stop fun.

The spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations will be part of the City's Christmas festivities. They will begin with the switching on of the Christmas lights in early December, an ice skating rink will be set up on the Piazza Colombo platform, and numerous events for adults and children will be held, putting families at the heart of the festive program.
