Sanremo Padel Tour 2025
After the great success of the inaugural edition, in 2025 the Sanremo Padel Tour will return at the end of September. The tournament will take place during the spring and summer in 6 Italian locations, an excellent way to convey the Sanremo brand, also present on the official uniforms, through a decidedly trendy activity considering its constant growth with about 1.5 million practitioners in our country. The final will be held in the City of Flowers, in Piazza Colombo and in the three padel clubs, and it will be a high-profile international event.
The stages are planned at:
- Brignano Gera d'Adda from 16th to 20th April
- Bruino-Turin from 5th to 11th May
- Povegliano Veronese from 16th to 22nd May
- Rome from June 30th to July 6th
- Ravenna from July 28th to August 3rd
- Naples, date to be defined
- Sanremo on a date to be defined
It is noted that these are the regions where padel is played the most. The prize money for each stage is 10 thousand euros and the winning couples will be welcomed in Sanremo in September to compete in the final. The event will be organized by the company E20 Sanremo , will be included in the calendar of the Municipality of Matuziano and will have the patronage of the Region in the name of tourism promotion of the territory.
Last year's edition was a dress rehearsal to then develop a format consisting of an Italian championship from north to south of the boot and the "finals" in the City of Flowers with 72 participants. In fact, on the field, professionals, young talents under 14 and amateurs, men and women, will compete. An initiative to combine sport and tourism in the best way.
In addition, the champions of this sport of tennis derivation will arrive in Sanremo: Marcela Ferrari , former player and coach of the Italian national team, both men's and women's, Gaby Reca , multiple world champion and coach, Federico Chingotto and Momo Gonzalez , respectively 4th and 12th in the world ranking. Other big names and former footballers of the Serie A will be the protagonists of exhibition matches and meetings with the public.
The Sanremo Padel Tour will be at the center of collateral events such as a gala dinner at the Casino, musical moments, tastings, demonstrations, appointments with schools and entertainment open to all. In short, a beautiful party will be celebrated made of sport and healthy fun, hoping to replicate the numbers of 2024: 3 thousand spectators, several reports on 80 national newspapers and various passages on Sky Sport.
