Sanremo Symphony Orchestra Spring Concerts 2025

The Sanremo Symphony Orchestra is one of the most important cultural institutions of the City of Flowers. Spring 2025 , in the words of director Giancarlo De Lorenzo, promises to be “ complex because it is full of very demanding programs, innovative because it presents new proposals for a classical orchestra and courageous because it ranges from Tchaikovsky to Antonella Ruggiero, from Beethoven to Ute Lemper, from Mozart to Fabrizio Bosso”. Below is the complete calendar of concerts, which will be held at the Teatro dell'Opera del Casinò di Sanremo .

  • Virtuoso Flute and Concert Overture” Friday 21 March at 6 pm, flute Bülent Evcil, conductor Pedro Vincente Alamà.

  • Totentanz and Scandinavian melodies” Saturday 29 March at 6 pm, piano Marcello Mazzoni, director Svilen Simeonov, with the participation of the Filharmonia choir.

  • A concert and a symphony with controversial origins” Saturday 5 April at 6 pm, violin Mariam Abouzahra, conductor Daniel Somogy.

  • Concert and Symphony for Archduke Rudolf” Friday 11 April at 6 pm, piano Andrea Molteni, conductor Gudni Emilsson.

  • German Romanticism” Saturday 19 April at 6 pm, clarinet Calogero Palermo, conductor Mateusz Moleda.

  • Two concerts for piano and orchestra” Thursday 24 April at 9 pm, piano the winners of the RPM Sanremo 2023/24 competition Artemy Sokolovsky and Eugeny Konnos, conductor Dainus Pavilionis.

  • Since we live here and work here, we will compose American music (A. Copland)” Wednesday 30 April at 6 pm, director Andrea Fornaciari.

  • Joy of Life and the Most Famous of the Unfinished Works” Sunday 4 May at 6pm, Massimo Urban piano, James Henshaw conductor.

  • A cello narrator and a brilliant didactic work” Friday 9 May at 6 pm, cello Sandra Lied Haga, conductor Georgios Balatsinos.

  • Masterpieces from troubled years” Friday 16 May at 6 pm, cello Ettore Pagano, conductor Jan Zarzycki.

  • Innovative Clarinet and an Unusual Composer” Friday 23 May at 6pm, clarinet Simón Ibánez, conductor Hakan Sensoy.

  • Late Viennese Classicism and the First London Symphony” Thursday 29 May at 9pm, piano Josef Edoardo Mossali, conductor Paolo Ponziano Ciardi.

Tickets can be purchased online or starting one hour before each event at the ticket office of the Casino Theatre or every Tuesday from 10am to 12:30pm at the Info Point kiosk in via Matteotti (in front of the Cinema Centrale).
